The data and referenced content published in the SwissPedDose database (here-in after referred to as ‘information’) are intended exclusively for medical professionals. The information can be amended or deleted by SwissPedDose at any time without further notice.

SwissPedDose assumes no liability for the accuracy and completeness of the information, even though it processes the information with the greatest care and always keeps it up to date. This also applies to harm resulting from the use of the published information. Since the information is continuously revised, we recommend not to print and further process it (e.g. for hospital specific booklets).

SwissPedDose assumes no liability for the error-free operation of the database, in particular for misuse by unauthorised third parties or for the failure or non-availability of the database due to technical issues.

The information on dosages published in the database is to be understood as recommendations. The actual prescription and use of a medicinal product is the sole responsibility of the attending physician. He or she must ensure that an appropriate medication or dosage is determined for the patient in each individual case, taking into account the duty of care.

Preparations on the market:
SwissPedDose contains a list of available commercial products. You will find this list under the menu item ‘Products’ below the dosage recommendations. Priority is given to preparations that are sold in Switzerland at the time of the search. These product overviews do not claim to be correct or complete. Despite extensive research, it is possible that a commercial preparation that would also be suitable for use in children is not listed.
